President Donald Trump has just dropped a bombshell that’s shaking the foundations of Washington, D.C., accusing none other than former President Barack Hussein Obama of treason.
In a fiery Oval Office tirade on Tuesday, Trump accused former President Barack Obama of treason, alleging his Democrat predecessor and key figures in his administration conspired to undermine Trump’s 2016 election victory and orchestrate what Trump described as a "years-long coup."

Trump claimed that Obama, former FBI Director James Comey, former CIA Director John Brennan, and others manipulated intelligence to falsely implicate Russia in the 2016 election, aiming to delegitimize his presidency in a bid that extended into a rigged 2020 presidential election.
Trump’s remarks follow a controversial report released last Friday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, who alleged that Obama’s administration fabricated intelligence to frame Trump in the so-called “Russiagate” scandal.
Gabbard has referred the matter to the Department of Justice for potential prosecution.
Trump, emphasizing Obama’s full name, Barack Hussein Obama, called him the "leader of the gang" behind these alleged efforts, stating, "He’s guilty...This was treason."

A spokesperson for Obama strongly refuted the accusations, describing them as baseless and a distraction from ongoing controversies surrounding the Trump administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.
"These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction," the spokesperson said.
They further noted that a 2020 bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio, confirmed Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, contradicting Gabbard’s claims.
The allegations stem from a broader narrative pushed by Trump and his allies, amplified by a video posted on Trump’s social media platform on Sunday.
The video, originally shared by an anonymous account on X called DeepFakeQuotes and attributed to the hacker collective Anonymous, claims that a December 9, 2016, meeting in the Obama White House involved senior officials, including Obama, Brennan, and then-DNI James Clapper.

"This is not speculation," the video alleges. "This is a documented fact... Intelligence was politicized at the highest levels under the direction of a sitting president to frame the incoming one."
It further claims that declassified emails and memos, released by Gabbard, expose a "treasonous conspiracy" to trigger investigations and media hysteria against Trump.
Legal experts have expressed skepticism about the accusations. Peter Zeidenberg, a former federal prosecutor, previously told Newsweek that the threats to prosecute Obama are "nonsense," contending, "Not only is there no credible allegation against Obama, the statute of limitations would have run out long ago. This is just a distraction."
Similarly, Senator Mark Warner, vice chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, defended the committee’s findings.
"It seems DNI Gabbard is unaware that the years-long Russia investigation carried out by the Senate Intelligence Committee reaffirmed that ‘the Russian government directed extensive activity against U.S. election infrastructure’ ahead of the 2016 election, and that it ‘used social media to conduct an information warfare campaign’ in order to benefit Donald Trump," Warner stated on X.
The controversy coincides with criticism of the Trump administration’s reluctance to release documents related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, prompting speculation that these accusations are an attempt to shift public attention.
Trump’s recent reposting of an AI-generated fake video depicting Obama’s arrest has further fueled debate, with critics calling it a dangerous escalation of rhetoric.

Trump’s not just tossing around accusations; he’s exposing what many of us have known for years: the Deep State, led by Obama and his cronies, tried to kneecap a duly elected president.
Gabbard’s report isn’t some tinfoil-hat conspiracy; it’s a clarion call, backed by declassified documents, that lays bare a coordinated effort to subvert the will of the American people.
The Russia hoax? A sham from the start, cooked up in the Obama White House to smear Trump and justify a witch hunt that dragged on for years.
Perhaps Obama, Brennan, Comey, and the rest will finally face the music, or the Trump administration will let this slide, allowing Democrats to sign another death warrant for our Constitutional Republic next semester.
As this story develops, the Department of Justice has not yet indicated whether it will act on Gabbard’s referral or pursue charges against Obama or other former officials.
House Speaker Mike Johnson has expressed support for subpoenaing the former president, though legal experts remain doubtful about the viability of such actions.
The controversy surrounding Trump’s accusations, coupled with the Epstein case backlash, ensures that this issue will remain a focal point in Washington.
