House Democrats, led by their sanctimonious Women’s Caucus, descended on Speaker Mike Johnson’s office Tuesday night, demanding he swear in Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, D-Ariz..

Trouble is, Johnson wasn’t even there and was honoring Charlie Kirk at the White House while these clowns staged their melodrama.

“Swear her in!” they chanted, tossing around wild accusations while turning a government shutdown into their personal soap opera.

WATCH:

Rep. Nanette Barragán, D-Calif., even scuffled with a Capitol Police officer, whining afterward, "He grabbed me by the side because he didn’t realize we were members of Congress."

Controversy erupted over Grijalva’s delayed swearing-in following her September 23 special election victory to replace her late father, Rep. Raul Grijalva.

Certified by Arizona officials, Grijalva’s credentials reached the House clerk, yet Speaker Johnson insists she’ll be sworn in only when the House reconvenes —post-shutdown.

The third-week government impasse has fueled tensions, with Johnson accusing Democrats of "storming" his office in desperation.

“It shows their desperation,” Johnson said Wednesday.

He added, "They berated a Capitol Police Officer, screamed at him. He was just merely standing his post."

House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, R-Minn., piled on, stating, “[The Democrats] can gallivant around the Capitol, making ridiculous videos, childish videos, scream at Capitol police officers who aren’t getting paid, by the way, and buy time until their hate America rally takes place on Saturday on the Mall."

Democrats counter that Johnson’s delay reeks of political gamesmanship.

WATCH:

"Is Speaker Johnson saying Members can no longer walk in the halls of the people’s House to express our viewpoints? The real question everyone should be asking is why Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva has not been sworn in. Speaker Johnson keeps changing the story of why he can’t swear her in, and this is his latest attempt to distract us,"Rep. Teresa Leger Fernández, D-N.M., chair of the Democratic Women’s Caucus, declared.

Grijalva herself, in a video outside Johnson’s office, said, "I was certified today. Certified. That means the governor, the attorney general, and the secretary of state have all said 'yes, she won.' And now they’re asking Speaker Johnson, demanding that he swear me in."

WATCH:

She added in a statement, "Speaker Johnson has exhausted every excuse to delay my swearing-in… Any further delay reveals his true motive: Speaker Johnson is stalling because he knows I will be the 218th signature on the discharge petition to release the Epstein files."

WATCH:

Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes threatened legal action, demanding assurance of Grijalva’s swearing-in date.

Democrats allege Johnson’s stalling ties to avoiding an Epstein files vote, a claim he denies: "This has zero to do with Epstein."

Video evidence shows Barragán removing a poster from Johnson’s office, though the Women’s Caucus calls the protest “peaceful,” disputing claims of vandalism.

Back to the Democratic clown show — while they shrieked outside an empty office, Johnson honored Charlie Kirk’s posthumous Medal of Freedom at the White House.

These hypocrites, who triggered the shutdown, now demand taxpayer-funded ceremonies amid the chaos.
