Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) unleashed a profanity-laced tirade against President Donald Trump on Sunday during a "Won’t Back Down Tour" rally in Phoenix, Arizona, organized by the activist group MoveOn.
Speaking alongside Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., and Rep. Yassamin Ansari,D-Ariz., Crockett didn’t mince words as she addressed a fired-up crowd.
"Listen, Donald Trump is a piece of sh*t. OK, we know that," she declared, pausing as cheers erupted. "He is, he is," she continued, "but in a functioning democracy, he still would not be able to get away with this. But he’s been able to get away with this because the House Republicans are complicit. He’s been able to get away with this because Senate Republicans are complicit. But most importantly, the courts, especially the Supreme Court, is complicit."
Crockett’s remarks were part of a broader attack on the judiciary, which she labeled "corrupt" and in need of "real guardrails."
"How much sense does that make when we know that they’re taking money—we have the paper trail—and they refuse to put guardrails on themselves?" she asked, criticizing the lack of ethics oversight on the Supreme Court compared to lower courts.

The 44-year-old congresswoman, who has emerged as a vocal critic of Trump, also outlined a strategy for Democrats ahead of the 2028 elections.
"For me, it’s getting aggressive," she said. "Now listen, I’m not going to say that’s what we're going to do, but I’m telling y’all what my vision's [going to] be," she added, hinting at efforts to limit the Supreme Court’s influence.
This isn’t Crockett’s first foray into provocative rhetoric. Last month, speaking on MSNBC, she called Trump a "wannabe Hitler," admitting, "I don’t even know what to call him. I’ve called him so many things."
Her past insults include labeling Trump a "dictator," an "enemy to the United States," a "buffoon," and a "mofo."
She’s also targeted Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, nicknaming him "Governor Hot Wheels" due to his wheelchair use, and recently criticized Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders’ "Fighting Oligarchy" tour as self-promotional.
In a May meeting with Rep. Maxine Dexter,D-Ore., Crockett remarked, "It kind of makes people be like, Oh, it’s about them, right? Instead of the team," according to an Atlantic profile.
Trump, 79, fired back last month on Miranda Devine’s "Pod Force One" podcast, calling Crockett "the new star" of the Democratic Party while dismissing her as "a low-IQ person."
The White House echoed this sentiment, with spokeswoman Abigail Jackson stating, "Jasmine Crockett’s low-intelligence comments aren’t merely pathetic digs at President Trump, they’re insults to the millions of Americans who elected him to Make America Great Again. And while Jasmine, the Democrat Party’s chief spokeswoman, continues to double down on attacking the American people, President Trump is fulfilling his promises and ushering in America’s Golden Age. With behavior like this from the left, it’s no wonder Democrats are historically unpopular."
The rally, aimed at energizing voters for the 2026 midterms, highlighted the deepening partisan divide as Crockett’s unapologetic style continues to draw both supporters and detractors.
