Department of Homeland Security officials have confirmed that the suspect in a violent antisemitic attack at the Park Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado, is an illegal alien who entered the United States under the Biden administration.

The assailant, identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national, is accused of launching a targeted terror attack on a pro-Israel event, leaving multiple victims injured, some with severe burns.

According to three senior DHS sources, Soliman arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on August 27, 2022, on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa, which permitted a stay until February 26, 2023, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reports.

Soliman overstayed his visa and never left the country.

On September 29, 2022, he reportedly filed a claim with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, possibly for asylum, and on March 29, 2023, the Biden administration granted him work authorization, valid until March 28, 2025.

The attack occurred during a peaceful weekly event supporting Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

FBI Special Agent Mark Michalek confirmed that Soliman allegedly used a makeshift flamethrower and threw an incendiary device into a crowd, injuring six victims aged 67 to 88, all of whom were transported to local hospitals.

Witnesses reported hearing Soliman shout “Free Palestine” and “end Zionists” during the assault.

Videos circulating on social media captured the chaos, with one witness describing a woman "burning on the ground" and others with leg burns.

Colorado Governor Jared Polis condemned the attack, calling it a "heinous and targeted act on the Jewish community" and vowing that the suspect will face the fullest extent of the law.

The FBI is investigating the incident as an act of terrorism, with Michalek noting that such targeted violence is becoming alarmingly common across the nation.
