Erika Kirk, widow of slain Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and the organization's new CEO, announced Sunday that she will meet privately today with podcaster Candace Owens to address Owens' persistent claims surrounding her husband's September murder.
"Candace Owens and I are meeting for a private, in-person discussion on Monday, December 15.@RealCandaceand I have agreed that public discussions, livestreams, and tweets are on hold until after this meeting. I look forward to a productive conversation. Thank you," Erika Kirk posted on X.
"I am very much looking forward to this discussion," Owens posted in response.

The announcement prompted Turning Point USA to cancel a planned livestream rebuttal to Owens' theories surrounding Charlie Kirk's assassination at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
Owens, a former TPUSA communications director who once described her relationship with Charlie Kirk as sibling-like, has repeatedly suggested involvement by TPUSA members, pro-Israel American supporters, the French military and even the U.S. military in the killing.
She has also questioned Erika Kirk's motives as the new leader of the group.
TPUSA largely ignored Owens' claims until early December, when producer Blake Neff issued a point-by-point rebuttal.
Last week, Erika Kirk spoke publicly for the first time on the matter during a CBS News town hall with editor-in-chief Bari Weiss.
"When you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk Show family, when you go after the people that I love, and you’re making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love because somehow they’re in on this, no," she said.
When asked if she had a message for Owens, Kirk said, "Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop."
