Federal prosecutors say four members of the "Order of the Black Lotus," a radical splinter of the anti-capitalist Turtle Island Liberation Front, planned "Operation Midnight Sun": stuffing backpacks with improvised explosive devices and planting them at multiple logistics centers tied to U.S. companies.

The suspects, Audrey Ilene Carroll, 30, known as "Asiginaak" or "black moon"; Zachary Aaron Page, 32, alias "Ash Kerrigan," "AK" or "cthulu’s daughter"; Dante Garfield (also reported as Gaffield), 24, called "Cedar" or "Nomad"; and Tina Lai, 41, alias "Kickwhere," were arrested Dec. 12 in Lucerne Valley in the Mojave Desert.

Video captured them attempting to detonate test explosives, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli said at a Monday news conference.

After the New Year's attacks, the group allegedly planned follow-up pipe bomb strikes on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and vehicles starting in January or February 2026.
