Joe Biden: the gift that keeps on giving—whether you want it or not.
The man who turned the White House into a nursing home reality show is back, staggering into the spotlight like he’s auditioning for a remake of Weekend at Bernie’s.
Biden, 82, made his first public appearance since revealing his metastatic prostate cancer diagnosis, speaking at a Memorial Day event in New Castle, Delaware, on Friday.
Medical experts speculate Biden may have been battling the disease for years, which might explain the frail figure who shuffled out of his vehicle, looking like he was one strong breeze away from toppling over.
The event, hosted by the Delaware Commission of Veteran Affairs, was meant to honor fallen service members.
Instead, Biden veered off-script, making the day about himself and implying his son, Beau, died in Iraq.
For the record, Beau Biden succumbed to brain cancer in 2015 at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland—not a combat casualty.
"I know for many of you, Memorial Day, like for us, is deeply personal," Biden, visibly emotional, said. "For the Bidens, this day is the 10th anniversary of loss of my son Beau, who spent a year in Iraq. To be honest, it’s a hard day."

Things took a bizarre turn when Biden erupted into a patriotic outburst, shouting, "I’m an American! That’s who I am! I’m serious about this! I’m not joking!"

He also flubbed lines from the Declaration of Independence, adding another gaffe to his highlight reel.
Post-speech, Biden shuffled toward reporters, and the wheels came off.
When CNN’s Kaitlan Collins referenced a new book by Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson, "Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again," which details his alleged mental decline, Biden got in her face.
The book claims Biden struggled with coherent sentences, relied on heavily scripted Cabinet meetings, and his team orchestrated a cover-up of his cognitive issues.
Biden fired back, "You can see that I’m mentally incompetent and I can’t walk, and I can beat the hell out of both of them."
And just when you thought it couldn’t get crazier, he’s challenging CNN anchors to a cage match.
CNN cut away as Dana Bash’s expression screamed, "Get me out of here."
Biden’s team pushed back hard against the book’s allegations.
A spokesperson told Fox News Digital, "There is nothing in this book that shows Joe Biden failed to do his job, as the authors have alleged, nor did they prove their allegation that there was a cover-up or conspiracy. Nowhere do they show that our national security was threatened or where the President wasn’t otherwise engaged in the important matters of the Presidency. In fact, Joe Biden was an effective President who led our country with empathy and skill."
On his health, Biden, who announced his "aggressive" prostate cancer diagnosis on May 18, struck an optimistic note, saying, "My expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this."
He’s currently on medication, though his office insists this is his first prostate cancer diagnosis.
Biden closed his remarks with a nod to the military.
"We come together and remember the debt we owe to the American military," he said. "The military is a solid spine, the spine of our nation. Our troops, our veterans, our military families, and our Gold Star families in particular. Only around 1% of all Americans defend 99% of us — 1%. Just 1% of Americans risk the ultimate sacrifice. We owe them so much more than we can ever repay them.”
This is the guy who led the free world? Yikes. It’s time for a nap, Joe, but you’ve been sleepwalking through this whole thing anyway.
