In the video posted to X, Gomez declared:
"I will end Islam in Texas so help me God. Muslims are raping and killing their way to take over CHRISTIAN nations. Help me get to Congress so you never have to bow down to their stupid rock."

The video didn’t stop there. Before torching the Quran, Gomez warned:
"Your daughters will be raped and your sons beheaded unless we stop Islam once and for all," says Gomez before setting the Quran on fire with a flamethrower.
She continued her fiery rhetoric, adding:
"Those Terrorist muslims can f*ck off to any of the 57 muslim nations." Before ending her rant with, "I believe in one God and that is the God of Israel."
The stunt comes amid rising anti-Islam sentiment online, fueled by widespread media coverage of grooming gang scandals in the UK and violent migrant crime cases across Europe. Supporters praised Gomez for being “brave” and “saying what others are too scared to,” while critics slammed the video as “beyond cringe” and politically reckless.
One user wrote:
“Can someone tell these politicians these videos are embarrassing? This isn’t helping anyone.”
Others accused Gomez of playing to outrage for attention, with some questioning whether such extreme tactics would hurt rather than help her chances in Texas.
