House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is standing by Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones despite shocking text messages where Jones fantasized about a Republican lawmaker’s fatal demise.

Why wouldn’t Jeffries ditch this loose cannon? Deep down, Jones’ radical ideology mirrors the Democrat Party’s unhinged soul—yet Jeffries clings to him like a lifeline.

On Thursday, Jeffries defended Jones on Capitol Hill, brushing off the scandal.

"The attorney general candidate has appropriately apologized for his remarks, and I know his remarks have been condemned across the board by Democrats in the commonwealth [of] Virginia and beyond," Jeffries said. "And that’s the right thing to do."

The texts, sent August 8, 2022, to Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner, chillingly suggested then-House Speaker Todd Gilbert and his children being gunned down— yet Jeffries calls an apology enough.

Meanwhile, Jeffries unleashed a vulgar tirade Friday against White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt after her blunt Fox News comments.

Leavitt slammed the Democrat Party’s ties to radical figures like NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, who backs Hamas and coddles criminals.

"The Democrat Party’s main constituency is made up of Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals," Leavitt declared. "That is who the Democrat Party is catering to, not the Trump Administration and not the Republican Party, who is standing up for law-abiding Americans."

Jeffries erupted, calling Leavitt "sick," "out of control," and possibly "demented, ignorant, a stone-cold liar, or all of the above.”

"The notion that an official White House spokesperson would say that the Democratic Party consists of terrorists, violent criminals, and undocumented immigrants. This makes no sense," he fumed.

This double standard reeks. Jeffries shields Jones’ violent rhetoric but melts down over Leavitt’s truth bombs. The Democrat Party’s unraveling facade is on full display
