In a gut-punch to open-borders advocates, Immigration and Customs Enforcement will descend on the 2026 Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, where Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny is slated to perform the halftime show.
The announcement, delivered with unapologetic clarity by Corey Lewandowski, a Department of Homeland Security adviser, signals a no-nonsense crackdown on illegal immigration.
"There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else," Lewandowski declared on The Benny Show Wednesday. "We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility, and we will deport you. So know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to what how it used to be."

Trump Advisor Corey Lewandowski warns: there’s no place ICE won’t go to remove criminal aliens from the US, even the Super Bowl:

The NFL confirmed Sunday that Bad Bunny, a three-time Grammy winner, will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show.
"What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown … this is for my people, my culture and our history," Bad Bunny said in a statement.
Yet, just last month, the reggaeton singer swore off U.S. performances, citing fears of ICE raids.
"But there was the issue of — like, f‑‑‑ing ICE could be outside [my concerts]. And it’s something that we were talking about and very concerned about," he told i-D Magazine.
Apparently, the lure of Super Bowl fame was too sweet to resist, and Bad Bunny folded faster than a cheap lawn chair, betraying his earlier stance.
Lewandowski, a former Trump campaign manager, didn’t hold back his disdain for the NFL’s choice.
"It’s so shameful that they’ve decided to pick somebody who just seems to hate America so much to represent them at the halftime game," he told host Benny Johnson. "I was at the Super Bowl last year with President Trump. I had the chance to be in Louisiana in his box and watch the game, and got to enjoy that. But listen, we should be trying to be inclusive and not exclusive. There are plenty of great bands and entertainment people out there who could be playing at that show that would be bringing people together and not separating them."
He added, "I don’t care if it’s a concert for Johnny Smith or Bad Bunny or anybody else. We’re going to do enforcement everywhere. We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, do yourself a favor: go home."
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl invite to ICE exposes his spineless pandering, a desperate bid for liberal clout while his principles crumble.
