The streets of Minneapolis have become a battlefield where radical left-wing agitators, fueled by sanctimonious rage over federal law enforcement, now assault officers and journalists alike.
This is not peaceful protest; it is orchestrated chaos designed to intimidate those enforcing America's borders.
Concrete barriers and fences went up Monday outside the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building in anticipation of escalated ICE operations.
A bald female protester threw a water bottle at ICE agents stationed there.
Video footage captured by NewsNation reporter Ali Bradley showed the woman sprinting away immediately after the throw.
Federal agents pursued and tackled her to the ground.
"Back up! Back up!" one agent shouted as protesters surrounded the officers.
Additional agitators harassed and shouted at federal personnel during the detention.
WATCH:
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem announced the agency would surge additional federal agents to Minneapolis amid the protests that erupted following an ICE-involved shooting earlier this month.
On Sunday evening, conservative reporters Nick Sortor and Cam Higby faced an ambush by anti-ICE protesters near the ICE facility.

The far-left mob attacked Sortor, throwing trash into his vehicle and spitting at him.
"I was forced to drive away to save our lives, repeatedly warning those standing in front to get out of the way," Sortor said.
"They didn’t listen, so I had no choice but to go anyway," he added. "They then used vehicles to block us as we were running, forcing me to throw the truck off the road to go around them."
"Then, it appears we were chased down the interstate by another one of their goons,” he continued.
These incidents reveal the ugly truth: when the left loses the narrative, it resorts to violence.
The same crowd that demands "justice" for one tragic shooting now hurls projectiles at officers and terrorizes independent journalists trying to report the facts.
This is not activism. It is domestic intimidation, plain and simple, and it will not deter the enforcement of law.
