Kavanaugh Assassin’s Family Begs for Mercy Citing Trans Identity

America, brace yourself: The family of Nicholas Roske, the would-be assassin who plotted to murder Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2022, now demands leniency because he identifies as transgender.

Roske’s family pleads for mercy, citing his "closeted" gender struggles as an excuse for his violent intentions.

Meanwhile, conservatives—patriots, veterans, Trump supporters—face the full force of the law.

Trans identity? That’s a get-out-of-jail-free card in today’s two-tiered justice system.

Roske, now calling himself "Sophie," pleaded guilty in April to attempting to kill Kavanaugh.

Surveillance footage provided in court filings shows Nicholas Roske at a gun shop on May 23, 2022. Justice Department.

On June 8, 2022, he arrived at Kavanaugh’s Maryland home armed with a pistol, ammunition, a knife, a crowbar, and tactical gear, intent on killing the justice and possibly others.

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Prosecutors described the potential impact as "immeasurable and staggering," stating, "By targeting and planning to kill ‘at least one,’ but ‘shooting for 3’ justices of the Supreme Court, the defendant sought single-handedly and irrevocably to alter an entire branch of the United States government through violence."

Roske’s mother claimed in a character reference letter, "This is when several of the pieces of the puzzle started coming together."

Roske himself wrote a letter to the judge, stating, "I am also sorry for contributing to a trend of political violence in American politics," adding, "When the draft [Dobbs decision] leaked, my self-esteem was at rock bottom, along with my hope for the future."

He blamed his actions on being "still in the closet" and unmedicated, stating, "The idea of violence would never have occurred if I hadn’t been suicidal."

His sister fretted to the judge that Roske would be "housed in a men’s prison with limited access to gender affirming care."

Roske’s attorneys, pushing for an eight-year sentence over the government’s 30-year recommendation, argued, "As any internet user knows, Googling and doom-scrolling, even in dark corners of the internet, does not equate to criminal intent."

They noted Roske called 911 to "self-report her plans, intentions, and actions,” halting the attack.

Judge Deborah Boardman, a Biden appointee, refers to Roske as "Ms. Roske" after his attorneys requested the name "Sophie" and female pronouns.

This is the same judge who, "refused to allow parents in a separate case to opt their young children out of LGBTQ storybook lessons, a decision the Supreme Court reversed in July," Life News reports.

Sentencing is set for Friday, October 3, 2025.

The Justice Department seeks 30 years, citing Roske’s chilling plan to reshape the Supreme Court through murder.

This comes amid rising threats against justices, like Panos Anastasiou, indicted last year for sending messages threatening to shoot, strangle, lynch, and behead six justices.

Equal justice? Hardly. Roske’s trans identity is being weaponized to dodge accountability, while conservatives face relentless persecution.

The system bends over backward for the woke, but if you’re a patriot, expect the hammer.
