The suspect who carried out a deliberate, horrific mass shooting at a Catholic school during Mass that left two children dead and 17 others wounded has now been identified as Robin Westman.
Westman fired through church windows in a calculated act of violence.
Disturbing new details reveal a manifesto and videos linked to the shooter, with messages scrawled on gun magazines reading "Kill Donald Trump" and "for the children."

Two young children, ages 8 and 10, were killed and 17 others injured, including 14 children, in a mass shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis on Wednesday morning, police confirmed.
The suspect, identified as 23-year-old Robin Westman, opened fire through the stained-glass windows of the school’s church during a morning Mass marking the first week of the academic year, before taking his own life.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, addressing reporters at a press conference, described the attack as a calculated assault.
"During the mass, the gunman approached on the outside, on the side of the building, and began firing a rifle through the church windows towards the children sitting in the pews at the mass. Shooting through the windows, he struck children and worshipers that were inside the building," O'Hara told reporters Wednesday.

Truly evil.

"The sheer cruelty and cowardice of firing into a church full of children is absolutely incomprehensible. This was a deliberate act of violence against innocent children and other people worshiping," O’Hara continued.
Westman, armed with a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol, died at the scene from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
Authorities believe he acted alone and had no known criminal history.
A smoke bomb was found at the scene, and investigators are combing through a vehicle left behind by the shooter for clues to his motive.
Disturbing new developments reveal that a series of videos posted to a now-deleted YouTube account, believed to be connected to Westman, surfaced hours before the attack.

One video shows a hand flipping through a red notebook filled with handwritten notes, laid over what appear to be schematic diagrams of guns.
The pages include phrases in English and Russian, with occasional coughing and maniacal giggling audible.

Other videos display an obsession with mass shooters, including references to Sandy Hook killer Adam Lanza.

Most chillingly, gun magazines shown in the videos were scrawled with the phrases “Kill Donald Trump” and “for the children,” according to law enforcement sources cited by The New York Post.

The shooting began around 8:30 a.m. during a Wednesday children’s Mass, a weekly tradition at Annunciation Catholic School, which serves approximately 370 students from preschool through eighth grade.
Helen Corkran, the school’s director of pastoral care, noted the church recently celebrated its 100th anniversary.
"It’s a good school. There are wonderful people there," she said. "It was the first children’s mass of the new school year."
Witnesses described a harrowing scene.

"I said, there’s no way that that could be gunfire. There was so much of it. So it was sporadic... it was a semi-automatic, and seemed like a rifle," longtime churchgoer Bill Bienemann, a nearby resident, told reporters. "It certainly didn’t sound like a handgun, and so he must have reloaded, you know, several times for sure."
He estimated hearing between 30 and 50 shots over three to four minutes.
Diamond Lake neighbors Mary Faist and Benny Pekala, watching as families reunited at a nearby reunification center at Mount Olivet, expressed their grief: "I don’t know why they (mass shooters) do it. If you have a problem with religion, resolve it a different way. Seeing little kids walk out, some of them have a lot of blood down their shirts."
Five of the injured children were admitted to Children’s Minnesota pediatric trauma hospital, while Hennepin Healthcare confirmed it was treating several victims.

Two children remain in critical condition, police said.
The attack, which occurred on the third day of the school year, prompted a massive law enforcement response, with ambulances, the FBI, and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension on scene.
The city of Minneapolis posted on X at 10:29 a.m. ET: "There is an active police situation at Annunciation Church, 509 W. 54th St. There is no active threat to the community at this time. The shooter is contained. Stay away from the area to allow emergency personnel to help victims – W. 54th Street between Lyndale and Nicollet Ave."

President Trump, writing on Truth Social, said: "I have been fully briefed on the tragic shooting in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The FBI quickly responded and they are on the scene. The White House will continue to monitor this terrible situation. Please join me in praying for everyone involved!"

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem stated on X: “DHS is monitoring the horrific shooting at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis. We are in communication with our interagency partners, and will share more information as soon as it becomes available. I am praying for the victims of this heinous attack and their families."

The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, assisting in the response, said: “This is an evolving situation and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by this act of violence.”
The Richfield Police Department reported: "A man dressed in all black and armed with a rifle was reported at the scene.
Increased police patrols have been ordered in nearby Richfield and across Minneapolis to reassure the community.
The shooting marks the fourth in the city within 24 hours, following three separate incidents from Tuesday into Wednesday that left three dead and eight wounded. Authorities say the Annunciation attack does not appear related to the prior shootings.

The quiet of a Minneapolis morning was shattered by gunfire, leaving a community in mourning and a nation grappling with yet another senseless act of violence. Two young lives were lost, 17 others forever changed, and questions linger about what drove Robin Westman to commit such a heinous act.
As the left continues to push divisive agendas, including the promotion of extreme rhetoric, we’re left to ask: What role does this climate of hate play in tragedies like this?
