A storm erupts in the Trump administration as promises to expose the Jeffrey Epstein files unravel, sparking a bitter clash at the highest levels of power.

The President himself is stepping into the fray, defending his Attorney General and scolding his own supporters.

President Donald Trump unleashed a fiery defense of Attorney General Pam Bondi on Saturday, slamming his own MAGA supporters for demanding the release of long-sought Jeffrey Epstein files.

The move comes amid a reported blowup between Bondi and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, threatening to fracture the administration’s unity.

A Justice Department memo released Sunday, stating Epstein had no "client list" and died by suicide, has ignited outrage among Trump’s base, who accuse Bondi of stonewalling the truth.

The President’s words were unapologetic, a direct rebuke to his own allies:

What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration, THE TALK OF THE WORLD, and ‘selfish people’ are trying to hurt it, all over a guy who never dies, Jeffrey Epstein. For years, it’s Epstein, over and over again.

Trump argued the files were compiled under Justice Department led by a Democrat administration and therefore would be meritless upon being disclosed:

President Trump emphasized that his administration’s achievements in domestic and foreign policy should take precedence over the ongoing speculation surrounding Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted child sex trafficker, and the influential figures associated with his island:

Trump called on his supporters to stop bashing Bondi when they should remain grateful he won the presidency following the rigged 2020 presidential election:

The clash escalated after a Wednesday meeting where Bondi and White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles confronted Bongino and FBI Director Kash Patel over a news story suggesting their dissatisfaction with the decision to withhold Epstein files.

Sources say Bongino, absent from work Friday, is "out of control furious" and considering resignation unless Bondi is fired.

"This destroyed his career. He’s threatening to quit and torch Pam unless she’s fired," a source close to Bongino told NBC News.

The Justice Department tried to quell the firestorm.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said he "worked closely" with Bongino on the bureau's memo regarding the Epstein files, implying Bongino took no issue with the administration's decision to bury the Epstein evidence until public backlash ensued.

"All of us signed off on the contents of the memo and the conclusions stated in the memo. The suggestion by anyone that there was any daylight between the FBI and DOJ leadership on this memo’s composition and release is patently false," Blanche wrote on X.

This is a gut punch to every patriot who believed Trump would drain the swamp.

We were promised the Epstein files, the truth about the pedophile elite, but what do we get? A measly two-page memo saying there’s no client list and Epstein offed himself.

Pam Bondi’s playing gatekeeper for the deep state, and Trump’s backing her up.

Where’s the fire from 2016? We chanted ‘Lock Her Up’ for Hillary, but she’s still free. Fauci’s walking around, no cuffs. Dominion execs? Untouched.

As a result, the 2020 election was stolen, and now the MAGA faithful are fed up with the excuses.

Trump’s telling us to move on from Epstein? Yet, the people want the truth, and are done with the runaround.

The memo’s release follows months of unfulfilled promises.

In February, Bondi claimed thousands of undisclosed Epstein documents existed, but the DOJ’s review concluded no further disclosures were warranted, citing court-sealed victim protections.

A video released to prove Epstein’s suicide raised suspicions due to a missing minute.

As the Trump administration grapples with this internal revolt, the President’s message is clear: unity over division, progress over past promises.

But with his base restless and a key deputy threatening to walk, the fallout over the Epstein files will likely cast a long shadow.
