Chicago's Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson escalated his anti-ICE crusade Monday, signing an executive order to create "ICE-free zones" across city property, shielding illegal immigrants from federal enforcement.
A mayor signing an order to create ICE free zones violates the Supremacy Clause, the Commerce Clause, the Necessary & Proper Clause, the Take Care Clause, the Tenth Amendment, & the Equal Protection Clause. It’s preemption, obstruction, & conspiracy.

The move follows violent assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Chicago, with local police allegedly ordered to ignore their distress calls.

Saturday’s chaos in Broadview, Illinois, saw ICE agents ambushed by 10 vehicles, one driven by an armed U.S. citizen woman who rammed their vehicle, prompting defensive gunfire.
Another attack in Brighton Park left agents pinned by armed rioters, with Chicago Police Department radio transmissions revealing orders to disregard federal pleas for help.
A CPD dispatcher reportedly stated, "We’re not sending anybody out to that location," as police vehicles stood idle nearby.
Johnson, undeterred, declared his executive order a stand against "the out-of-control administration."
"Today, we are signing an executive order aimed at reining in the out-of-control administration. The order establishes ICE-free zones. That means that city property and unwilling private businesses will no longer serve as staging grounds for these raids," the Marxist Chicago mayor said.
The mayor also accused Republicans of seeking "a rematch of the Civil War," claiming, "The right wing of this country wants a REMATCH of the Civil War. The President has declared war against the people of Chicago!"

The attacks coincide with President Donald Trump’s Operation Midway Blitz, targeting criminal illegal immigrants in Chicago.

"Details are still emerging, but it appears that officers from the Chicago Police Department were ordered not to assist a group of ICE agents while they were physically threatened by what appeared to be an angry mob," said National FOP President Patrick Yoes. "Let me be clear, both the National FOP and the Illinois FOP believe that when an officer calls for assistance, you answer, no matter what.”
Illinois FOP President Chris Southwood added, "The number one unwritten rule in law enforcement is that we respond to any calls from officers in distress. What would have happened if the local police were facing threats and nearby federal officers were told not to assist?"
The Department of Homeland Security blames “sanctuary” politicians like Johnson for a 1,000-percent surge in violence against ICE.
"Thankfully none of our law enforcement was killed because of these deranged criminals’ attacks on law enforcement. This is exactly what happens when Governor J.B. Pritzker, Mayor Brandon Johnson, and other sanctuary politicians demonize ICE and encourage illegal aliens to resist law enforcement,"Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stated.
Chicago’s descent into lawlessness exposes the rot of leftist ideology.
Johnson’s defiance emboldens criminals, betrays law enforcement, and spits in the face of federal authority.
His "ICE-free zones" signal open season on agents risking their lives to protect Americans. This isn’t governance — it’s anarchy, cloaked in Marxist rhetoric, sacrificing safety for political points.
