Minneapolis Trans-Satanist Shooter’s Mother Vanishes as Father's CIA Links Surface

New details continue to unfold about the parents of the trans-satanist shooter, Robin Westman, who gunned down two children and wounded 17 others in a horrific attack at Annunciation Catholic School.

The shooter’s mother, Mary Grace Westman, is refusing to cooperate with law enforcement, sparking intense scrutiny, while her ex-husband James Westman's reported ties to the CIA through his work with a Pentagon-linked firm have ignited alarm.

The focus has sharpened on Mary Grace Westman, the mother of 23-year-old Robin Westman, who opened fire through the stained-glass windows of Annunciation Catholic Church during a back-to-school Mass on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.

Mary Grace has retained high-profile criminal defense attorney Ryan Garry and is not speaking with authorities, a decision that has raised eyebrows as the FBI investigates the attack as a potential domestic terrorism incident.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed this development during a press conference on Thursday, stating, "We have not been successful in talking to the shooter’s mother, yet, at this time. But there continue to be efforts made to get that done."

Federal agents were seen descending on Mary Grace’s apartment in East Naples, Florida, on Wednesday, hours after the shooting.

Her current whereabouts remain unclear, and it’s unknown why she has chosen not to cooperate.

Attorney Ryan Garry, known for representing NFL star Colin Kaepernick in a lawsuit related to George Floyd protesters and rapper Desiigner in an indecent exposure case, told Fox News, "She is completely distraught about the situation and has no culpability but is seeking an attorney to deal with calls like this."

Garry declined to comment further on her lack of cooperation with police.

Mary Grace’s connection to the crime scene adds another layer of intrigue.

She worked at Annunciation Catholic School until her retirement in 2021, a fact noted in an August 2021 Facebook post from the church celebrating her service, which was later deleted.

Court documents reveal she signed off on her son’s legal name change from Robert to Robin in 2020, when he was 17, with the application stating, "Minor child identifies as female and wants her name to reflect that identification."

The New York Post reported that Robin later expressed regret in a journal, writing, "I only keep [the long hair] because it is pretty much my last shred of being trans. I am tired of being trans, I wish I never brain-washed myself," suggesting a conflicted mindset before the attack.

Meanwhile, attention has turned to James Westman, Robin’s father, who public records show owns a home less than a mile from the church in south Minneapolis.

James is listed as a Senior Application Developer at ESRI, a company described on Wikipedia as the leading geospatial satellite mapping firm for the Pentagon, Google, and various U.S. government agencies, including the CIA and Department of Defense through GSA schedules.

His LinkedIn profile indicates he has worked there since February 1996, a 29-year tenure, following a role as a GIS Specialist at Bay West, Inc. from 1991 to 1996.

He holds a Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained from 1987-1989, and a degree from the University of Michigan.

Allegations of CIA ties stem from ESRI’s contracts with intelligence agencies, though no direct evidence confirms James’s involvement.

The home he owns was cordoned off by law enforcement after the shooting, but his current stance or location remains unreported.

The shooter’s manifesto and online videos, which included antisemitic and anti-Catholic rhetoric, "kill Donald Trump" inscriptions on gun magazines, and a diagram of the church, have fueled speculation about his motives.

Chief O’Hara noted, "The shooter’s heart was full of hate," while FBI Director Kash Patel called it "an act of domestic terrorism motivated by a hate-filled ideology."

His mother’s refusal to engage with investigators, combined with her past employment at the school and role in his transition, has led some to question whether missed warning signs contributed to the tragedy.

As of 11:30 AM EDT on Friday, August 29, 2025, the investigation continues, with authorities executing four search warrants and analyzing hundreds of pieces of evidence.

Mary Grace’s silence and James’s alleged CIA connection remain focal points, though unverified claims of a broader conspiracy involving MI6, Soros, or Black Rock have surfaced online, lacking substantiation.

This is a developing story, and we’ll keep you updated as more details emerge.
