The Big Apple just elected its own socialist wrecking ball, Zohran Mamdani, and the hypocrisy parade started before the confetti hit the ground.
This open-borders jihadist with the charisma of a stale falafel couldn’t wait 24 hours after his win to beg for your cash — proving socialism rocks until the "other people’s money" dries up.
Mamdani, the self-anointed Democratic Socialist who spent years demonizing capitalism and promising New Yorkers housing, healthcare and endless handouts on the taxpayer's dime, posted a video on X Wednesday begging supporters for donations to fund his "transition."
"Good morning, New York City,” Mamdani intoned in the clip. "This transition requires staff, research, and an infrastructure that can meet this moment, and it will be made possible by the people who built and believe in this movement. So I hope you’ll make a donation at Transition2025.com."
Thank you, New York City. Together we made history.

Now let’s get to work. https://t.co/G7F2sbda74 pic.twitter.com/GQABMqJHgn
Translation: Send money so I can build the machine that will confiscate yours later.
The plea underscores the core deceit of Mamdani’s playbook — preach against the "wealthy elite" while relying on grassroots wallets to bankroll the revolution.
His campaign halted donations months ago; now the spigot reopens, revealing a mayor-elect who cannot govern without the capitalism he despises.
Gullible Democrat voters who swallowed this socialist Kool-Aid bear equal blame. They elected a man whose "free" agenda demands endless funding from someone else — starting with their own pockets.
Mamdani announced an all-female transition team on Wednesday, led by veterans of the de Blasio, Adams and Bloomberg administrations.
Co-chairs include former First Deputy Mayor Maria Torres-Springer, ex-Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan, nonprofit leader Grace Bonilla and budget expert Melanie Hartzog.
Progressive strategist Elana Leopold, a de Blasio alum, serves as executive director.
These appointments, drawn from establishment circles Mamdani once scorned, signal the same old government bloat repackaged with a hammer and sickle.
New Yorkers deserve transparency, not a bait-and-switch where "people-powered" means your paycheck powers his payroll.
As Mamdani prepares to take office Jan. 1, the mask slips: Socialism isn’t free — it’s just someone else footing the bill.
