Pharma Rep Faints Mid-Trump Drug-Price Bombshell in Oval Office [WATCH]

President Donald Trump’s Oval Office announcement on slashing costs for obesity drugs halted abruptly Thursday when a pharmaceutical company representative collapsed behind the podium.

The incident unfolded 45 minutes into the event as Eli Lilly CEO Dave Ricks detailed his firm’s "investment in America."

"Are you okay?" Ricks asked, turning to the man on his right.

The representative, identified by Ricks as "Gordon," began to fall.

Attendees caught him before he hit the floor.

Trump rose from his chair to check on the commotion as three men lowered the individual to the ground.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt ordered reporters out. Live feeds cut seconds later.

"During the Most Favored Nations Oval Office Announcement, a representative with one of the companies fainted," Leavitt said in a statement minutes later. "The White House Medical Unit quickly jumped into action, and the gentleman is okay. The Press Conference will resume shortly."

The man’s full identity and employer remain undisclosed.

Executives from Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk flanked Trump at the event, which aimed to expand Medicare coverage and reduce prices for weight-loss medications.

Dr. Mehmet Oz, newly sworn in to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, rushed to assist.

Chris Klomp, CMS deputy administrator, had just left the podium after declaring, "[Americans] cannot reach our full potential as individuals if we are not healthy."

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick watched as medical personnel responded.

This marks the second Oval Office medical interruption in seven months.

In April, Oz’s 11-year-old granddaughter fainted minutes after his swearing-in ceremony.

The drug-price event resumed later Thursday without further incident.
