Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stumbled badly Tuesday when pressed on why the Biden administration never released Jeffrey Epstein-related files during its four years in power.
"Why wouldn’t [the Epstein files] have been released the past four years when President Biden was in office?" a reporter asked Schumer point-blank.
Schumer responded by launching into an attack on President Donald Trump, without appearing to realize the question was about the Democratic administration.
"Well, that’s the question every American is asking — not every American but so many Americans are asking…what the hell is he hiding?" Schumer said.

CHUCK SCHUMER (MORON): "That's the question every American is asking... What the hell is he hiding!?"
So true! pic.twitter.com/aA6jHXIe2k
"Why doesn’t he want them released? When you don’t want something like this released when a whole lot of Republicans are calling for the release — his own party members… people ask the question, 'What’s he hiding?!'" Schumer continued.
President Trump fired back Sunday evening, urging House Republicans to vote for full disclosure of the Epstein files.
Trump issued a lengthy statement saying, in part: "As I said on Friday night aboard Air Force One to the Fake News Media, House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party, including our recent Victory on the Democrat 'Shutdown.'"

He added, "The Department of Justice has already turned over tens of thousands of pages to the Public on ‘Epstein,’ are looking at various Democrat operatives (Bill Clinton, Reid Hoffman, Larry Summers, etc.) and their relationship to Epstein, and the House Oversight Committee can have whatever they are legally entitled to, I DON’T CARE!"
Trump warned Republicans against falling into what he called an Epstein "TRAP," saying, "Nobody cared about Jeffrey Epstein when he was alive and, if the Democrats had anything, they would have released it before our Landslide Election Victory."
The exchange underscores yet again how Democrats reflexively point fingers at Trump while dodging accountability for their own party’s failures.
Schumer’s flailing meltdown is peak projection: four years of Democratic control, zero Epstein transparency, and the first words out of his mouth are "What’s he hiding?" Classic Alinsky deflection from a career swamp creature who can’t even keep his own timeline straight.
