The Shadow of Screens: How Blue Light Secretly Steals Your Manhood, Turns Your Kids Gay

In a world bathed in the glow of screens, a silent epidemic is stealing our health, our vitality, and even our identity.

Blue light, the invisible force emanating from our phones, computers, and LED lights, is more than a modern convenience—it's a biological wrecking ball.

Dr. Jack Kruse, a neurosurgeon and decentralized medicine advocate, is sounding the alarm on blue light’s pervasive impact on human health.

In an exclusive interview with Rift TV host Elijah Schaffer, Kruse delivered a stark warning about the pervasive dangers of blue light’s role in hormone disruption, infertility, mental health decline, and even gender identity shifts.

"Testosterone is destroyed by blue light exposure," he told Schaffer. "In our visual system, we have these chemicals tied to photoreceptors. They’re called opsins. Every time blue light hits it, the blue light detector called melanopsin breaks off the vitamin A. The vitamin A becomes a wrecking ball and it destroys your hormone panel."

This process, he explains, disrupts the CYP enzyme, a heme protein critical for hormone production, leading to a cascade of health issues.

"It dehydrates it, and iron changes its oxidation state. That’s the reason you can’t make your testosterone," Kruse said, likening the body’s response to a barren, iron-oxide-laden Mars.

A Society Under Siege

The societal implications of blue light exposure are profound.

Kruse argues that the omnipresence of blue light—from screens to LED lighting in schools and stores like Walmart—contributes to a range of modern ailments.

"You tend to eat more food, you spend more money," he said, describing how retailers exploit blue light’s effects to drive consumer behavior.

This manipulation extends to personal lives, where blue light’s stress-inducing properties mimic a "fight or flight" response.

"Blue light puts you in a stress response, like it’s fight or flight,” Kruse explained. “You are actively trying to get away… It’s just like if a saber-tooth tiger was chasing you, but you don’t realize that light can cause that."

Blue Light and Gender Identity


Perhaps most controversially, Kruse links blue light to shifts in gender and sexual identity.

"Vitamin A destroys the sex steroid hormones, and that’s actually why we have more kids that have pink hair, green hair, and are gay or bisexual or have bipolar disorder,” he stated.

He attributes this to epigenetic changes triggered by blue light’s interference with hormone production.

"It raises the hormones up to change gender ideation," Kruse said, noting that the retina, an extension of the brain, connects directly to the hypothalamus, where hormones are regulated. "It is gearing the hormones to change the light ferry boats so that testosterone drops, the female sex steroid hormones drop. It’s flipping the progesterone, estradiol ratio."

The effects of blue light, he argues, are directly correlated to rising rates of gender dysphoria and sexual orientation shifts in younger generations immersed in screen-heavy environments.

Infertility: A Growing Crisis

Blue light’s impact on fertility is equally alarming. Kruse points to skyrocketing infertility rates, particularly among younger generations.

"In your age group, infertility is off the chain," he told Schaffer.

For men, blue light’s suppression of testosterone leads to sexual dysfunction, with Kruse bluntly stating, "Guys can only get off watching porn… but when you put a beautiful woman in front of them, their penis doesn’t get erect."

For women, blue light contributes to conditions like polycystic ovarian syndrome and other hormonal imbalances, making conception difficult.

"They become infertile, and not only that, they can still have kids, but it’s very difficult," Kruse said, noting the booming fertility industry as a symptom of this crisis.

The Power of Natural Light and Red Light Therapy

To counter blue light’s effects, Kruse advocates for natural sunlight exposure, particularly at sunrise, and the use of red light therapy, to support mitochondrial function and hormone production. "If you see the sunrise, you don’t have to know all the fancy reasons, biophysically, why that’s important… Your testosterone will rise, your sex steroid hormones will normalize… You’ll be more fertile," he said.

Kruse shared that even El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele has adopted these practices, replacing LED lights with incandescent bulbs at his brother’s wedding to promote health.

Mental Health and Cognitive Decline


Blue light’s toll on mental health is another critical concern. Kruse links it to sleep disorders, anxiety, and even suicide.
