Trump Declares Every Biden Autopen Document 'Null and Void' in Historic Purge

President Donald Trump declared Tuesday evening that every document, proclamation, executive order, memorandum and contract signed by an autopen under the Biden administration is "null, void, and of no further force or effect."

In a series of blistering Truth Social posts, Trump issued the sweeping revocation and warned recipients of Biden-era pardons and commutations that their documents now carry zero legal weight.

"Any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized ‘AUTOPEN,’ within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect," Trump wrote. "Anyone receiving ‘Pardons,’ ‘Commutations,’ or any other Legal Document so signed, please be advised that said Document has been fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Trump escalated Friday, claiming roughly 92 percent of Biden’s official actions were autopen-signed and threatening perjury charges if Biden claims personal involvement.

"The Radical Left Lunatics circling Biden around the beautiful Resolute Desk in the Oval Office took the Presidency away from him," Trump posted. "I am hereby cancelling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally. Joe Biden was not involved in the Autopen process and, if he says he was, he will be brought up on charges of perjury. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

Internal White House emails uncovered by the Oversight Project show Biden aides made final clemency decisions and fed revised pardon lists into the autopen without Biden ever reviewing or approving the changes.

The same probe identified at least three distinct autopen signatures used throughout the Biden term — including separate machines labeled "Autopen A"and "Autopen B" — and a third signature deployed from week one of the administration.

House Oversight Chairman James Comer, R-Ky., called it "one of the biggest political scandals in U.S. history."

Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., wrote on X, "FOR YEARS, unelected Deep State bureaucrats ran our country with an autopen while President Biden sat on the sidelines in cognitive decline. What happened was unforgivable. INVALIDATE THEM ALL."

Legal scholars immediately questioned whether Trump can unilaterally void pardons, noting past presidents of both parties have used autopens, though not for pardons and excutive orders.

Courts are expected to face immediate challenges if federal agencies attempt to enforce Trump’s directive.
