Trump Demands Arrest of 6 Democrats, Declares Their Actions 'PUNISHABLE BY DEATH!'

President Donald Trump unleashed a blistering attack Thursday on six Democratic lawmakers, branding their public appeal to military and intelligence personnel as "seditious behavior at the highest level" and declaring it "punishable by DEATH!"

The president demanded their immediate arrest and trial, then amplified social media posts calling for the Democrats to be hanged.

Trump's fury erupted over a video released Tuesday by Sens. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., and Mark Kelly, D-Ariz., along with Reps. Jason Crow, D-Colo., Chrissy Houlahan, D-Pa., Chris Deluzio, D-Pa., and Maggie Goodlander, D-N.H. All six are military veterans or former national security officials.

In the clip, they reminded active-duty service members of their oath to the Constitution, stating, "This administration is pitting our uniformed military and intelligence community professionals against American citizens. Like us, you all swore an oath. To protect and defend this Constitution. Right now, the threats to our constitution aren’t just coming from abroad, but from right here at home. Our laws are clear. You can refuse illegal orders. You must refuse illegal orders. No one has to carry out orders that violate the law or our Constitution."

The lawmakers recorded the message as the Trump administration has federalized National Guard units for domestic law-enforcement missions in several cities and authorized lethal force against suspected drug-smuggling vessels in the Caribbean, moves Democrats have challenged in court as unlawful overreach.

Trump responded on Truth Social with a series of all-caps posts.

"It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand - We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET," the president wrote.

He continued: “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP???

And later, "SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!"

The president also reposted at least 16 messages from supporters, including one that read "HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD" alongside an image of a gallows.

House Democratic leadership swiftly condemned the statements as "disgusting and dangerous death threats."

Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Minority Whip Katherine Clark and Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar said they had contacted the Capitol Police and House sergeant-at-arms to protect the targeted members.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom, a potential 2028 presidential contender, called Trump "sick in the head."

Whatever one thinks of the Democrats’ video, the response from the White House has taken the temperature to a level not seen in modern American history.
