President Donald Trump has accused Vice President Kamala Harris’s 2024 presidential campaign of illegally paying celebrities, including Beyoncé, Oprah Winfrey, and MSNBC commentator Al Sharpton, for endorsements, alleging violations of federal election law.
In a Truth Social post on Sunday, Trump claimed the Harris campaign funneled millions to high-profile figures and celebrities, warning the payments were misreported and constituted unlawful activity.
“I’m looking at the large amount of money owed by the Democrats, after the Presidential Election, and the fact that they admit to paying, probably illegally, Eleven Million Dollars to singer Beyoncé for an ENDORSEMENT (she never sang, not one note, and left the stage to a booing and angry audience!), Three Million Dollars for 'expenses,' to Oprah, Six Hundred Thousand Dollars to very low rated TV 'anchor,' Al Sharpton (a total lightweight!), and others to be named for doing, absolutely NOTHING!” Trump wrote.

He added, "These ridiculous fees were incorrectly stated in the books and records. YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO PAY FOR AN ENDORSEMENT. IT IS TOTALLY ILLEGAL TO DO SO. Can you imagine what would happen if politicians started paying for people to endorse them. All hell would break out! Kamala, and all of those that received Endorsement money, BROKE THE LAW. They should all be prosecuted! Thank you for your attention to this matter."
Federal Election Commission records confirm payments from the Harris campaign to entities linked to the named celebrities.
The campaign paid $165,000 to Beyoncé’s production company for an event, as reported by The Hill.

A Washington Examiner report noted a $1 million payment to Winfrey’s company on October 15, 2024, for a televised town hall-style interview in September and a rally appearance in Philadelphia the night before the election.
Additionally, FEC filings show Harris for President paid $500,000 to Sharpton’s National Action Network, split between two payments on September 5 and October 1, 2024.

Sharpton, who hosted Harris on his MSNBC show PoliticsNation on October 20, 2024, asked her nothing but softball, unchallenging questions.

Both the Harris campaign and Winfrey have denied claims of payments for endorsements.
Winfrey, a billionaire media mogul, refuted reports of receiving $1 million, stating her appearances were not tied to personal compensation.

The Harris campaign similarly clarified that payments to Beyoncé’s production company were for event production, not endorsements.
President Trump has repeatedly called for investigations into these payments, including a May 2024 Truth Social post demanding a "major investigation" into whether Harris paid for endorsements under the guise of entertainment fees.
He also questioned payments to Bruce Springsteen, asking, "how much" Harris paid for his "poor performance" during her campaign.
Since taking office for his second term, he has accused former President Barack Obama of "treason" after declassified reports confirm he manufactured fictitious claims of Russian election meddling in a bid to plague Trump's first term with a Russian collusion hoax to delegitimize his presidency.
The president has called for investigations into Senator Adam Schiff, former CIA Director John Brennan, and former FBI Director James Comey, and issued executive orders targeting former officials Christopher Krebs and Miles Taylor.
Democrat mouthpieces of the mainstream media claim that Trump's call to investigate and prosecute Democrat lawmakers is an attempt to weaponize federal power, with The New York Times reporting Trump’s “willingness to weaponize the federal government” in unprecedented ways.
Yet, details revealing the extent the Obama administration weaponized the intelligence agencies against the Trump administration continue to unravel as the Justice Department under Joe Biden charged Trump with 92 felony counts.
No federal prosecutors have indicated plans to pursue Trump’s allegations against Harris or the named celebrities.
President Trump is shining a spotlight on what looks like a classic Democrat playbook—throwing around millions to buy influence while pretending it’s all above board.
Kamala Harris’s campaign, drowning in $20 million of debt after burning through a billion bucks, apparently thought it could just pay off Beyoncé, Oprah, and Al Sharpton to prop up their failing candidate.
And what do we get? Denials, deflections, and zero accountability.
If we hold our breath waiting for Democrats to be prosecuted for lawbreaking activity, we’d all go blue in the face.
But at least now we know more about how far left lawmakers are above the law.
