A shocking act of violence has rocked Boulder, Colorado, where a terrorist attack targeting pro-Israel demonstrators has left eight people injured.

The suspect, an Egyptian national illegally in the United States, now faces federal hate crime charges and state attempted murder charges.

President Donald Trump is pointing the finger squarely at what he calls the failures of the previous administration’s border policies, vowing swift action to secure the nation.

The brutal terrorist attack on Sunday left eight people—four men and four women aged 52 to 88—injured after illegal alien, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, allegedly threw two homemade Molotov cocktails at a peaceful pro-Israel demonstration.

The victims, members of the group Run For Their Lives, were walking to raise awareness about hostages held by Hamas since the October 7, 2023, terror attack.

Authorities say Soliman, 45, shouted "Free Palestine!" as he hurled the incendiary devices, with 14 additional unlit Molotov cocktails found in a nearby black plastic container.

Soliman, who entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in August 2022, overstayed his legal status after his work authorization expired on March 28, 2025, rendering him illegally present for two months.

According to a federal complaint, Soliman admitted to planning the attack for a year, researching how to make Molotov cocktails on YouTube, and waiting until after his daughter’s graduation to act.

During an interview with federal authorities, he reportedly said, "I wanted to kill all Zionist people and wished they were all dead," and expressed he would "do it (conduct an attack) again."

A video posted to X during the attack showed Soliman, shirtless and pacing, holding the devices while yelling, "how many children killed" and "end Zionist."

President Trump, in his first public comments nearly 24 hours after the attack, condemned the incident.

"Yesterday’s horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in the United States of America. He came in through Biden’s ridiculous Open Border Policy, which has hurt our Country so badly. He must go out under ‘TRUMP’ Policy. Acts of Terrorism will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law," the president stated on Truth Social.

He added, "This is yet another example of why we must keep our Borders SECURE, and deport Illegal, Anti-American Radicals from our Homeland. My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy, and the Great People of Boulder, Colorado!"

The FBI has classified the attack as a targeted act of terror, charging Soliman with a federal hate crime on Monday, alongside state charges including first-degree attempted murder.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt doubled down on President Donald Trump’s stance on the "despicable evil," warning the administration is committed to stricter immigration enforcement.

"This absolutely is an act of targeted terrorism,” Leavitt said during an interview with Fox News on Monday. "And the president is going to ensure that this individual is held to the fullest extent of the law, and not just this individual, but any individual, especially illegal criminals, who engage in acts of terrorism, will be held accountable under this president."

Leavitt then issued a warning to illegal aliens in the United States on visas.

"It is a privilege, not a right, to enter the United States of America, and we are not going to allow people who are pushing anti-American values and especially engaging in acts of violence to remain in our country. Your visa will be revoked, and you will be deported,” she said.

Attorney General Pam Bondi also issued a statement condemning the attack.

"The Department of Justice has swiftly charged the illegal alien perpetrator of this heinous attack with a federal hate crime and will hold him accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Our prayers are with the victims and our Jewish community across the world," Bondi said, according to a press release issued by the DOJ on Monday.

The Trump administration is cranking up deportations, revamping ICE, and sending a clear message that this nonsense won’t stand.

The Department of Homeland Security responded by announcing an overhaul of its Immigration and Customs Enforcement tip line to enhance resources for deporting criminal illegal aliens.

"For four years, the Biden Administration allowed millions of unvetted illegal aliens—including terrorists, gang members, and other violent criminals—to pour into our country," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin noted. "Yesterday’s terrorist attack by a suspect illegally in our country, underscores the importance of getting these illegal aliens out of our country."

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem is leading the initiative, urging the public to report suspicious activity at 866-DHS-2-ICE.

The radical left’s obsession with open borders has turned our country into a tinderbox, and now we’ve got a terrorist—a guy who shouldn’t even be here—chucking Molotov cocktails at elderly folks standing up for Israel.

Biden’s policies let this guy slip through, and now innocent Americans are paying the price.
