Trump Vows to End "Anti-Christian Bias" With New DOJ Taskforce

In a nation founded on faith, the left’s relentless assault on religious liberty has reached a breaking point.

President Donald Trump, ever the defender of the faithful, took a stand Monday at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, promising to protect the sacred right to prayer in public schools.

"I’m pleased to announce this morning that the Department of Education will soon issue new guidance protecting the right to prayer in public school," Trump declared during a high-profile hearing on religious liberty in education.

His remarks, delivered at the second meeting of the Religious Liberty Commission he established earlier this year, underscored his administration’s commitment to safeguarding Americans’ First Amendment rights.

The commission, including figures like Dr. Phil McGraw, Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, former HUD Secretary Ben Carson, and New York Archbishop Timothy Dolan, is tasked with identifying "emerging threats" to religious freedom.

Trump didn’t mince words, blasting the Biden administration’s "weaponization" of federal power against Christians.

"Upon taking office, I also ended the weaponization of law enforcement against religious believers and pardoned the pro-life activists thrown in jail by Joe Biden," he said, calling Biden’s tenure "one of the meanest we’ve ever had."

He added, "People don’t realize about the Biden administration – it was a very mean administration. He’s a mean guy, actually. Not a smart guy. Never was. But he was a mean guy."

A new report from the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias, chaired by Attorney General Pam Bondi, detailed "numerous instances" of anti-Christian bias under Biden.

The report accused federal agencies, including the Department of Defense, Department of Education, and Department of Justice, of targeting Christians. It highlighted the DOJ’s prosecution of pro-life activists under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act while failing to protect places of worship.

The Department of Education allegedly imposed hefty fines on Christian universities like Liberty ($14 million) and Grand Canyon ($37.7 million).

The report also noted the FBI’s labeling of "radical-traditionalist" Catholics as "domestic terrorism threats."

"The Task Force makes this commitment: the federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith," the report stated.

White House spokesperson Taylor Rogers told Fox News, “Joe Biden weaponized the full weight of the federal government against Christians and trampled on their fundamental First Amendment rights. Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is protecting Christians, not punishing them."

Students at the event shared stories of discrimination, including a girl banned from organizing a prayer group for an injured classmate and a fifth grader forced to read a book on gender ideology.

Trump vowed to protect religious freedom "with vigor," stating, “America was founded on faith … and when faith gets stronger, as it is right now, we are having a very good period of time after some rough years."

With the Religious Liberty Commission and a new White House Faith Office, the fight to restore faith in America is just beginning.
