Tulsi Gabbard Warns Declassified Report Exposes Obama-Era Coup to Undermine Trump’s 2016 Victory

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, standing firm at the podium in the White House briefing room on Wednesday, unveiled a declassified House Intelligence Committee majority staff report confirming a coordinated effort by former President Barack Obama to subvert the will of the American people.

Gabbard, flanked by the weight of newly declassified documents, exposed what she described as a calculated effort by the Obama administration to delegitimize Donald Trump’s 2016 election victory.

The report, produced under the direction of President Trump and in coordination with House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rick Crawford, lays bare a web of deceit spun by senior Obama-era officials, including CIA Director John Brennan and DNI James Clapper.

The allegations are grave: a manufactured intelligence community assessment from January 6, 2017, ordered by President Obama, falsely claimed Russian interference favored Trump, setting the stage for a years-long coup to undermine his presidency.

Gabbard insisted this is a matter transcending partisan divides.

"This is not about Democrats or Republicans," Gabbard stated. "This has to do with the integrity of our democratic republic and American voters having faith that the votes cast will count."

Gabbard charged that Obama’s national security team, led by Brennan, knowingly crafted a false narrative that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to secure Trump’s victory.

"There is irrefutable evidence that details how President Obama and his national security team directed the creation of an intelligence community assessment that they knew was false," Gabbard said. "They manufactured findings from shoddy sources. They suppressed evidence and credible intelligence that disproved their false claims. They disobeyed tradecraft intelligence community standards and withheld the truth from the American people."

With the precision of a prosecutor, Gabbard laid out how this scheme unfolded, pointing to a conspiracy that weaponized intelligence to subvert democracy.

The report reveals that the January 2017 ICA, ordered directly by Obama, was not a product of rigorous analysis but a politically motivated document.

It ignored evidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s primary goal was to undermine faith in U.S. democracy, not to support any candidate.

Gabbard highlighted a particularly damning finding: "Putin held back from leaking compromising material on Hillary Clinton prior to the election, instead planning to release it after the election to weaken what Moscow viewed as an inevitable Clinton presidency."

The report further exposes how Brennan and others suppressed intelligence showing Putin’s indifference to the election’s outcome, including plans anticipating a Clinton victory.

Gabbard detailed the extent of Russia’s alleged dirt on Clinton, stating, "The report goes into great detail about the information that Russia and Putin had on Hillary Clinton, which included possible criminal acts like secret meetings with multiple named religious organizations in which U.S. State Department officials offered, in exchange for supporting Secretary Clinton’s campaign for the presidency, significant increases in financing from the State Department."

She added that documents revealed Clinton’s "psycho-emotional problems, uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness," and her alleged reliance on "a daily regimen of heavy tranquilizers."

The Obama administration didn’t just bend the truth—they shattered it.

The report accuses Brennan of leaning on the discredited Steele dossier, a piece of political fan fiction, to prop up the ICA’s claims.

Gabbard didn’t mince words: "Brennan and the intelligence community mischaracterized intelligence and relied on dubious substandard sources to develop a ‘clear preference for Trump.’ The dossier was referenced in the intelligence assessment’s main body text and further detailed in a two-page assessment annex."

When confronted with the dossier’s flaws, Brennan reportedly shrugged, asking, "Yes, but doesn’t it ring true?"

This was a deliberate attempt to paint Trump as a Russian puppet, and the media, ever the loyal lapdogs, lapped it up.

The report also reveals how Brennan overruled veteran CIA officers who warned the ICA’s claims lacked evidence.

"We don’t have direct information that Putin wanted to get Trump elected," senior CIA officers protested, only to be silenced.

Meanwhile, multiple pre-election intelligence assessments, including one from December 5, 2016, found no Russian intent or capability to sway the election.

A presidential daily brief on December 8, 2016, stating no Russian or criminal actors impacted vote counts, was yanked hours before publication under mysterious "new guidance."

The next day, a National Security Council meeting, attended by Brennan, Clapper, and Susan Rice, set the stage for Obama’s direct order to produce the tainted ICA.

The ICA, crafted by a handpicked team of five analysts under Brennan’s thumb, wasn’t intelligence; it was propaganda. And when Clapper, Comey, and Brennan peddled it to the press with "high confidence," they weren’t just lying—they were betraying the Constitution.

Gabbard’s briefing didn’t stop at exposing the plot; she demanded accountability.

"We refer all of these documents to the DOJ and FBI," she said, leaving criminal charges to investigators but emphasizing the intent behind the ICA "can only be described as a years-long coup."

The report’s 200 pages, she noted, are littered with evidence, including comments from senior professionals pointing to Obama’s direct role in orchestrating this deception.

As the dust settles, the implications are profound. Gabbard’s revelations, backed by the declassified report, Senator Chuck Grassley’s release of the "Clinton annex,” and prior ODNI documents, confirm a pattern of gross politicization.

The question now is whether justice will be served, or if the deep state’s architects will slip away, as they so often do.
