The globalist elites are cranking up the fear machine again, sounding the alarm on a so-called "new" COVID variant to keep you in line, pushing masks and panic to strangle your freedom.
A new, highly infectious COVID-19 strain, NB.1.8.1, first identified in China, has now surfaced in the U.S., with cases confirmed in New York City, California, Washington State, Virginia, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Hawaii, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Detected in late March and early April among international travelers, the variant has reportedly spread to 22 countries, with 518 cases reported globally.
In China, emergency room visits for COVID have surged from 7.5% to over 16% in the past month, while hospital admissions doubled to over 6%, per the state-run China Daily.
Hong Kong reported 81 severe cases and 30 deaths in the last four weeks, mostly among those over 65, with a 12-month high positive test rate of 13.66%.
Taiwan’s COVID-related ER admissions spiked 78% in the week ending May 3.

The COVID pandemic was their masterpiece, exploited to enforce worldwide tyranny—lockdowns, censorship, and forced compliance under the pretense of safety.
NB.1.8.1 is their latest prop to keep the fear alive and the shackles on.
Experts claim NB.1.8.1 spreads faster than other strains.
"In other words, it is more transmissible," Subhash Verma, a microbiology professor at the University of Nevada, told CBS News.
Dr. Amy Edwards, a pediatrics professor at Case Western Reserve University, noted, "What they’re seeing in China, Hong Kong and some other areas where this variant has really surged, is an increase in hospitalization."
Symptoms include cough, sore throat, fever, and fatigue, similar to other COVID variants.
Dr. Edwin Tsui, head of Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection, warned, "The CHP will continue to closely monitor the situation of the variant strains in accordance with the World Health Organization’s recommendation, and be cautious of the possible emergence of more virulent or vaccine-mismatched strains of the virus in the future."
Despite the hype, Verma and Edwards said the strain doesn’t seem more severe so far.
Hong Kong’s government, under Beijing’s thumb, downplayed its danger, claiming it’s no worse than prior variants.
The CDC noted too few U.S. cases to track in variant estimates, but airport testing caught infections in travelers from China, Japan, South Korea, France, Thailand, the Netherlands, Spain, Vietnam, and Taiwan.
And of course, the mask push is back, and it’s a sham.
Hong Kong officials are urging surgical masks in public transport and crowded areas.
In the U.S., Dr. Edwards advised, "If you’re a little under the weather, but well enough to be out and about, wear a mask,” adding, “Good cough and sneezing hygiene, good hand washing, staying home if you’re not feeling well to keep other people from catching what you’ve got."
Meanwhile, masks don’t stop the transmission of viruses. Aerosols carrying COVID slip through most masks like sand through a sieve.
Only surgical-grade N95 masks, properly fitted, offer meaningful protection, and even those aren’t perfect.
Cloth masks and loose surgical masks are pure theater, designed to signal compliance, not stop transmission.
The World Health Organization flagged NB.1.8.1 as a "variant under monitoring" on Tuesday.
Its global case share jumped from 2.5% to 10.7% in April, though reduced testing and monitoring likely hide the true spread.
The outbreak coincides with the Trump administration scaling back vaccine recommendations, limiting boosters to seniors and high-risk groups, with the CDC dropping jabs for healthy kids and pregnant women.
