Thought Police Strike: UK Government Targets 42% Of Citizens For 'Terrorist' Ideology

comment-1 Created with Sketch Beta.

The British government has slapped a "terrorist" label on nearly half of its own people.

Not for waving Hamas flags, bombs or torching cars, mind you, but for daring to think Western culture’s worth saving from a tidal wave of unvetted, unchecked migration.

This is what happens when globalist elites decide patriotism is a crime.

And the United States wasn't far behind, with the Biden administration cooking up lists to target everyday Americans for "wrongthink."

The UK government has classified 42% of its citizens as supporters of "extremist terrorist ideologies" for holding concerns over mass migration and cultural erosion, according to official documents and reports.

Specifically, the government’s Prevent anti-radicalization program now targets "cultural nationalism"– defined as the belief that "Western culture is under threat from mass migration and a lack of integration by certain ethnic and cultural groups" – as a form of extreme right-wing terrorism.

This designation, outlined in an online training course for Prevent, marks such views as a potential pathway to terrorism, requiring intervention through deradicalization schemes.

The policy has sparked outrage, with critics arguing it criminalizes mainstream opinions.

Lord Young, general secretary of the Free Speech Union, penned a letter to Home Secretary Yvette Cooper, warning the terrorist designation for thought crimes "matter of serious concern."

"While not defined in law, nor subject to statutory constraint, the definition in the training course expands the scope of suspicion to include individuals whose views are entirely lawful but politically controversial," he wrote.

Young cautioned that even former Immigration Minister Robert Jenrick, who said "excessive, uncontrolled migration threatens to cannibalise the compassion of the British public," or Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who noted that unfair immigration rules risk turning the UK into "an island of strangers," would be considered terrorists under government's definition.

The Prevent program, already criticized after failing to stop Southport killer Axel Rudakubana despite three referrals, now labels "cultural nationalism" as a subset of Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism.

The measure effectively allows the government to selectively target civilians.

“Now that ‘cultural nationalism’ has been classified as a subcategory of extreme Right-wing terrorist ideology, even mainstream, Right-of-centre beliefs risk being treated as ideologically suspect, despite falling well within the bounds of lawful expression," Lord Young noted.

Free speech is outlawed under the new policy, resulting in Julian Foulkes, a retired police officer, being arrested over a social media post warning about anti-Semitism, with officers describing his book collection as "very Brexity."

Foulkes later received an apology and £20,000 compensation.

Telegraph columnist Allison Pearson was questioned by police over an X post following pro-Palestinian protests, and Hamit Koskun was fined for burning a Koran, prompting Jenrick to accuse courts of reviving blasphemy laws.

A 24-year-old autistic man was referred to Prevent for viewing "offensive and anti-trans" websites and Right-wing comedy, according to the Free Speech Union.

The UK’s approach mirrors broader European trends, where leaders like Italy’s Giorgia Meloni and France’s Marine Le Pen face scrutiny for opposing mass migration, and Eastern European nations are fined or have elections disrupted for similar stances.

In the United States, parallels are emerging.

Reports from 2021 and 2022, including a Department of Homeland Security bulletin, warned of domestic terrorism threats from individuals with "grievances" over immigration policies or cultural changes, without evidence of criminal activity.

The Biden administration’s National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism emphasized monitoring "extremist" ideologies, raising concerns about overreach.

A 2022 whistleblower report from the FBI alleged the agency created "threat tags" for Americans based on political views, including those opposing open-border policies.

Cases like the targeting of parents protesting school policies as "domestic terrorists" further fueled claims of ideological persecution.

The UK’s gone full dystopia, branding anyone who loves their culture as a jihadi-in-waiting, while actual rioters waving Hamas flags get a free pass.

And don’t think Uncle Sam’s sitting this one out. Biden had his own naughty list, tossing law-abiding Americans into the "extremist" bin for daring to question the border free-for-all or school indoctrination.

This is what happens when transnationalist elites decide your patriotism’s a thought crime.

The UK’s a warning, America: wake up, or we’re next in line for the thought police.

A chilling report out of the UK exposes a dystopian crackdown on free speech, with citizens arrested for social media posts deemed offensive by the state.

But the United States under the Biden administration wasn’t far behind, with government lists targeting non-criminals for their beliefs. This is a story of power, control, and the erosion of liberty on both sides of the Atlantic.

London, UK – British police have arrested over 4,000 people for online posts since 2014, with 1,177 arrests in 2024 alone for “offensive” social media content under the Communications Act 2003, according to UK Home Office data. The law criminalizes “grossly offensive” or “menacing” messages, a vague standard critics say hands authorities unchecked power to silence dissent.Among the arrested: a 55-year-old woman in Cheshire for a post about immigration deemed “inaccurate,” and a 61-year-old man near Liverpool for “stirring racial hatred” on X. Both face up to seven years in prison. “I was just expressing my view on migration. I didn’t threaten anyone,” the woman, who requested anonymity, told The Telegraph. “The police showed up at my door like I was a terrorist.”The UK’s Online Safety Act 2023, now in partial effect, escalates the crackdown, mandating platforms remove “harmful” content or face fines up to 7% of global revenue. Free speech advocates warn it creates a chilling effect. “This is state censorship dressed as public safety,” said Toby Young, director of the Free Speech Union. “Ordinary people are being punished for opinions, not crimes.”Washington, D.C. – The United States under President Biden wasn’t far behind in targeting civilians for “wrong think.” Reports from 2021-2024 reveal the administration placed non-criminals on government watchlists for their political views. A 2023 whistleblower report from the FBI, cited by The Heritage Foundation, exposed the Bureau’s monitoring of Americans for “anti-government” or “conspiracy theory” posts on platforms like X. The Department of Homeland Security’s 2022 “Domestic Violent Extremism” report flagged individuals for questioning election integrity or COVID-19 policies, absent any criminal activity. In 2021, the White House pushed tech giants to censor “misinformation,” with then-Press Secretary Jen Psaki admitting, “We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation.” A 2024 House Judiciary Committee report confirmed the administration pressured X and Meta to suppress content, including posts from conservative commentators and vaccine skeptics, often without evidence of illegality. “I was shadowbanned for questioning mask mandates,” said Dr. Jane Ruby, a medical commentator with 300,000 X followers. “No warning, no explanation—just silenced.”The Transportation Security Administration’s Quiet Skies program also drew fire for placing Americans on domestic surveillance lists based on social media activity. A 2023 Government Accountability Office report found TSA targeted travelers for enhanced screening due to “ideological beliefs” flagged by algorithms, not criminal acts. Senator Rand Paul called it “a gross overreach” in a 2024 X post, noting, “Biden’s DHS is treating dissent like terrorism.”

Well, folks, there you have it—Big Brother’s alive and well, and he’s got a British accent and a Biden bumper sticker. The UK’s tossing grandmas in the slammer for tweeting their two cents, while here at home, Joe’s boys are playing Thought Police with watchlists and shadowbans. This isn’t about safety; it’s about control. They don’t want you thinking, they want you obeying. And when you’ve got vague laws and algorithms deciding who’s “harmful,” you’re one post away from a knock on your door. Wake up, America—your freedom’s on the chopping block, and the blade’s already swinging.
