American Hero: U.S. Model Stabbed in the Face, Nearly Blinded By Illegal Aliens While Defending Women on German Tram, Syrian Suspect Rearrested After Initial Release

Folks, this is the kind of story that makes your blood boil—another brave American stepping up to do the right thing, only to get slashed in the face by a knife-wielding thug, and then watch as the system lets one of the attackers walk free just hours later.

The public is getting fed up, and rightly so, with illegal aliens committing heinous crimes, getting a slap on the wrist, and being turned loose to terrorize innocent people all over again.

It's happening here at home, and is even more prevalent in the United Kingdom, where soft-on-crime policies are putting lives at risk.

In a shocking incident that underscores the dangers of unchecked migration and lax justice systems, 21-year-old American model John Rudat from upstate New York was viciously stabbed in the face on Dresden's tram line 7 shortly after midnight on August 24, 2025.

Rudat, who was visiting the German city, intervened when two men began harassing female passengers near the Goldener Reiter stop.

According to Dresden police, one of the suspects, identified as 21-year-old Syrian asylum seeker Majd A., punched Rudat, while the other briefly exited the tram before returning with a six-inch blade and slashing at the victim's face, causing multiple severe injuries that nearly blinded him in one eye.

Rudat was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance, where he remains under medical care for serious but non-life-threatening wounds.

Photos from the crime scene, published by German daily Bild, reveal blood smeared on the tram floor and tissues used by bystanders to stem the bleeding.

Police confirmed both suspects are under investigation for grievous bodily harm, but the knife-wielding attacker fled the scene on an electric scooter and remains at large.

Authorities are reviewing surveillance footage and appealing for witnesses among the passengers.

Majd A., who has a prior criminal record including convictions for bodily harm and robbery, was apprehended roughly half a mile away and provisionally arrested.

In a decision that has sparked widespread outrage, prosecutors released him hours later, citing insufficient grounds for detention related to the knife attack.

"According to the assessment of the on-call prosecutor, there were not enough grounds for detention. The knife attack cannot be attributed to him," Chief Public Prosecutor Jürgen Schmidt explained.

Yet, on Tuesday, following international backlash generated online, Majid A. was rearrested early Tuesday.

Despite his permanent residency in Germany, critics point to Majd A.'s history as evidence of a broken system that allows repeat offenders to roam free.

He appeared before a judge at the Dresden District Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody, German outlet Bild reported.

"Wearing a grey Adidas hoodie and black sweatpants reading 'Hoodrich,' he was pictured smirking as he was led into court by armed police," the New York Post reported.

The attack comes amid a alarming 17 percent surge in knife incidents in Germany during the first half of 2025, according to official police data analyzed by The European Conservative.

Overall, knife crime in the country has risen nearly 10 percent year-on-year in recent years, prompting urgent calls for tougher security measures.

This incident follows a mass stabbing earlier in 2025 at Hamburg's central train station that wounded 18 people, highlighting a spate of violent assaults often linked to migrants.

The stabbing has reignited fierce debates over Germany's migration policies, particularly those stemming from former Chancellor Angela Merkel's 2015 "welcome culture," which critics argue has led to elevated violent crimes.

Member of the European Parliament and part of the far-right Alternative für Deutschland party Petr Bystron condemned the attack, stating: "We condemn in the strongest possible terms the brutal attack on a US citizen in #Dresden. While he courageously intervened to protect a fellow traveler, he was brutally assaulted. We urge the German authorities to swiftly bring the perpetrators to justice and to punish them to the fullest extent legally permissible. Security is a collective responsibility. No one is safe until everyone is safe."

In a raw video posted to social media from his hospital bed, amassing thousands of views and fueling international outrage, Rudat blasted the German justice system's handling of the casewhere.

Rudat appears heavily bandaged across his now scarred face, with visible blood on his lip due to the trauma.

"Listen up, let me drop a problem. It is 11:57 right now. In three hours, that man that assaulted me will be released from custody because he's not a citizen of Germany," he said speaking directly to the camera. "He is an illegal one, a drug dealer, very popularly known here. This is insane. It's not fair. And that the other guy decided to take a swing in my face.

"If they could do this to the Germans and then just get released 12 hours later – Where the hell? If Germans are held to that law and that structure, but these people could just come in, swing knives and hurt, abuse, terrorize and oppress citizens of Germany. What..."

The US State Department has yet to issue a statement about the stabbing of the American citizen in Germany yet

What happened to this young American in Germany isn't just some isolated incident; it's the tip of the iceberg in a globalist plot to flood Western nations with unvetted migrants, erode our borders, and dismantle law and order from within.

The elites want you disarmed and defenseless while these criminals run rampant, all in the name of their "welcome culture" agenda that's really about population replacement and control.

If we don't fight back now, with leaders like Trump leading the charge, it'll be your city, your tram, your face next time.
