On April 9th, Amy Dangerfield reached out to me via Instagram with an offer to collaborate on a project that she was working on with Jake Shields and Michael Rectenwald, the founder of the Anti-Zionist America PAC (commonly known as AZAPAC). Amy told me that she was planning an event named “America First United,” to bring together “America First” candidates. She was also working with an AI team on a political scoring system.
For context, I was working on a project called AFStatus, an in-progress website which is essentially meant to rank active politicians, political candidates, political activists, and content creators based on their alignment with the America First movement, which influencer Nick Fuentes has created for almost a decade. Amy had likely seen me promote the website (which had similarities with her project) on Twitter/X.
Since Dangerfield hadn't really described what she, Shields, and Rectenwald were working on in vivid detail, I pointed her towards another contact who had originally come up with the idea for AFStatus. She eventually contacted them and told them what she had told me, that she was planning an event and that she wanted to score candidates, similar to what we were trying to do.
Eventually, Dangerfield, alongside her husband Daniel DeBrincat and a member of her "AI team" who will remain unnamed here, joined a call with this contact and another person who was helping with AFStatus.
The following statements provided here summarize what Dangerfield allegedly wanted to do with her project at the time, as described by a user who was involved with AFStatus.
The AFS Allegations
According to allegations made by AFStatus representatives after the call, Dangerfield remarked that her AI team was "struggling" to rank political candidates and repeatedly asked how AFStatus had been set up and how the team behind it ranked political candidates. Dangerfield even allegedly suggested signing NDAs so they could "feel more comfortable revealing their method." She then moved on to claim that she saw America First as being "more than just Nick Fuentes," although Fuentes has been virtually the only influencer putting any actual work in for 'America First' ideals for several years.
As a result of both Dangerfield's alleged remarks and several other factors, such as her bringing on Jake Shields and Michael Rectenwald to help make AFU a reality, AFStatus's team rejected her, and nobody involved with the project, myself included, ever contacted her again.
In light of recent events, this has become the wisest decision we could've made.
AFU
As the event came closer to occurring, it became clearer to most supporters of Nick Fuentes that Dangerfield had no intention to stick to his ideals at all. She had invited multiple leftist losers to the event, including a girl who called for the doxxing of ICE agents and a Muslim. Several other opponents of Fuentes, including Morgan Ariel, were invited to speak as well.
Despite all of the backlash from Fuentes supporters ahead of the event, Dangerfield, alongside Shields and Rectenwald, was still preparing to fly out for the America First United event, which was finally hosted on May 2nd, almost a month after she had initially contacted AFStatus, in Columbus, Ohio.
The event was a complete disaster. Even ignoring the fact that only 500 viewers overall tuned in to the livestream, all but a select few speakers seemed to want nothing to do with America First ideals at all. One speaker, a Hispanic liberal named Jose Vega, even claimed that the West must atone for their "many crimes," including colonialism and the Holocaust.
On top of this, a few speakers at the event denounced Dangerfield and their fellow representatives after everything was said and done. Joel Webbon, a Protestant pastor who has previously treated Nick Fuentes well, criticized the event for hosting anti-Christian and anti-White voices, including Vega, to "represent America First," and stated that the event was only proof that many of these influencers can never unite.
Neon White Rabbit, a little-known speaker who is friends with anti-America First influencer Matt Forney, also attempted to distance himself from the event, but was quickly met with backlash for refusing to reveal what was happening in the AFU group chats.
Despite Nick Fuentes himself joining in to bash the America First United event on Telegram briefly and confirm that he had nothing to do with the events, many of his opponents took the opportunity to claim without evidence that Fuentes was 'closely tied' to the event, based purely on the fact that many of the speakers had tried to force their way into his circle multiple times. Many of these speakers would soon angrily lash out at Nick Fuentes and try to do whatever they could to destroy his reputation.
Putsch
Casey Putsch, an automotive engineer and YouTube content creator, had been running to become governor of Ohio at the time that the AFU event occurred, and was hoping to beat Vivek Ramaswamy in the Republican primary for the election. On May 2nd, immediately following AFU, Fuentes stated that he didn't think Putsch had a chance to beat Ramaswamy in the Republican primary.
Putsch childishly lashed out in response and stated that Nick "knew" he was an opponent of Vivek's and only wanted a Hindu or Jew as a governor, even though he had done absolutely nothing to actually promote himself or his plans for Ohio, and instead spent most of his time on X attacking Milo Yiannopoulos, which, while very funny, should not be the top priority of a gubernatorial candidate.
Completely understandable.

He wants a Hindu Indian Anchor baby or a Jewish woman Democrat as Governor of Ohio.
Don’t vote for the Christian White man that stood up, we can all go “rest in piss”. https://t.co/V7DeMKP6CR
In spite of everything, Putsch went on to lose both the Republican primary and EVERY county in Ohio.

Instead of conceding the election to Vivek Ramaswamy cordially or telling his voters to vote against Vivek, as any other candidate would do upon losing a race, he instead blamed Nick Fuentes for losing him the election.
This would swiftly be proven wrong by many people who were a part of Putsch's campaign.
George Roush, a former advisor and strategist on Putsch's campaign, alleged that the White House had contacted Putsch to extend olive branches to him, and he refused all of them.
Alex is correct.

Casey ended his own campaign when he counter-signaled Trump.
But that's not all of it: at the beginning of the race, the White House extended multiple olive branches to Casey, and he refused all of them.

Jacob Tilley, a former regional director for the Putsch campaign, also revealed that Putsch treated the people working for him horribly while he was running for governor, and that Putsch cared more about social media numbers then he did about votes.

This man lied to every voter he had and every member of the campaign staff.
We had two emergency meetings with Casey, both times because things were falling apart with the team. During the first meeting, he cussed me out… https://t.co/pWMXtHJdp5 pic.twitter.com/J47esUCBEA
Shields and Bilzerian
Jake Shields, a notable AFU backer who has repeatedly attacked Nick Fuentes in the past, experienced yet another crashout following Fuentes' disavowal of America First United, and moved on to support Dan Bilzerian, who had recently begun to attack Fuentes.
For context, Bilzerian, who had previously announced his intention to run against Congressman Randy Fine in Florida's 6th district, had become extremely angry that Fuentes would not support Republicans, including himself, in an effort to punish the GOP as a whole for their failures to go through with their promises to undo the messes that Joe Biden made. Bilzerian had also become more prone to anger on social media because many people saw his campaign as a way to destroy any chance that Fine would lose his race to return to Congress: congressional candidate Aaron Baker had already been running against Fine.
Baker eventually alleged online that Amy Dangerfield had promised to promote him through AFU, only to betray him and endorse Bilzerian.
Bilzerian, backed by Shields and AFU speaker Morgan Ariel, has been attacking Fuentes for days, spouting years-old false claims that Nick Fuentes is a gay Mexican federal agent. In response, Fuentes and his audience went all out. Fuentes himself revealed on X that back in 2024, Bilzerian had asked him how he could assassinate notable Israeli leaders. Fuentes declined to entertain the idea and stated that Dan was conveniently ambushed by the FBI immediately upon leaving, after Nick also declined to take a trip to Dubai and Qatar with him.
The first time I met Dan Bilzerian at his house, he had us put our phones in another room, then asked me how difficult it would be to assassinate Israeli government ministers.
— Nicholas J. Fuentes (@NickJFuentes) May 8, 2026
Then he invited me to Dubai and Qatar, which I declined. On his way there he was ambushed by the FBI 🤷♂️
Fuentes also revealed on X that the meeting he was referring to took place on May 2024.
No, you weren’t. The meeting I’m referring to took place in May 2024.
— Nicholas J. Fuentes (@NickJFuentes) May 10, 2026
You are thinking of another time.
Seeing what Nick revealed about Dan, influencer Lucas Gage stated that he and Jake Shields had a similar meeting with Bilzerian around July 2024, in which Bilzerian asked them how Daily Wire head Ben Shapiro could be "taken out." Gage's friend Adam Green, who historically has campaigned against the 'America First' movement repeatedly in the past, later confirmed in a space on X that Gage indeed had a meeting with Bilzerian and informed Green of such after the meeting occurred.
HOLY FUCK.
— Lucas Gage (@LucasGageX) May 8, 2026
Nick, I swear to God, he did the same thing to me. He walked me and Jake up to that room with a batting cage. We put our phones on the couch and went up to that secluded room with the big TVs. He asked me about where Ben Shapiro lived and how he could be taken out.
Shields has denied that this meeting occurred, despite all evidence pointing to the contrary.
Dangerfield
By far the saddest responses to the AFU backlash have come from Amy Dangerfield herself.
Following the criticism, Dangerfield completely crashed out and began to push back against pro-Joel Webbon and pro-Fuentes voices and defend inviting anti-ICE and anti-White activists to her event.
The common issue is opposing Israeli occupation. Nick literally said in this video “idc if you disagree with me on every other issue”
— Amy Dangerfield (@AmyDangerfield) May 2, 2026
She also appeared in a New York Times article, which ultimately was the final blow to any attempt by herself and other influencers to tie AFU to Nick Fuentes.
First, Dangerfield admitted that Nick had never given her permission to hold the event and had never even texted her back.

Dangerfield also laughably claimed that Fuentes was nothing more than a podcaster and that figures such as Dan Bilzerian were far better representatives for America First.

She even stated she wanted to do a second event in Vegas, which likely won't even reach half of the already small audience that had come to listen to the AFU speakers.
People who were there to watch the event unfold in person were left completely embarrassed by what occurred. In the New York Times article, it's shown that some attendees reported being ashamed by their attendance, and one even went out of their way to express fear of being photographed at the event.
On Friday, while Dangerfield was desperately trying to salvage what was left of her reputation, Nick Fuentes bashed her and Dan Bilzerian as skinsuiters on his Telegram.

As of now, the America First United event has only resulted in dividing far right audiences and bringing more ashamed viewers to Fuentes' fanbase. Amy Dangerfield has exposed herself a skinsuiting loser, and Dan Bilzerian has exposed himself as a violent extremist who is worth nothing in any movement beyond fedposting.
It's gotten so bad that many of Nick's opponents have outright taken his side against the Bilzerian audience. This attempt at skinsuiting America First has caught even the most moderate scumbags by surprise, and any chance that Nick Fuentes would be tied to figures such as Amy Dangerfield in the future has been completely erased at this point.
This could've all been avoided if Amy had chosen not to listen to liberal skinsuiters like Michael Rectenwald, and morons such as Jake Shields. Instead, she'll likely be known as a figure hated by all political influencers for the rest of her life, and the few supporters she has left will only ever be known for crying about Nick's fanbase shutting down their skinsuit operation.
